Feb 2021 SOYO Project - 02/06/21
On February 6, our SOYO worked on three of its mission statement objectives: Service, Worship and Fellowship. They begain by filling 200 gallon size ziplock bags with socks, as well as around 15 different personal hygiene items for the homless of Los Angeles. This work was made possible by the generoisty of our November / December appeal (which was primarily used to feed the hungry in our neighborhood in December. We then entered the Cathedral and participated in the Vesper service, with some of the teens offering their voices to read some of the psalm verses. Our final activity that day was an outdoor movie, complete with pizza, salad soft drinks, cookies and (of course) popcorn.
